BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) -- Police said Tuesday they believe the same person may have robbed three banks since January and they're asking for help to identify him.

In each of the robberies, the suspect entered the bank alone, posed as a customer, approached a teller and then made threats of possessing a gun and demanded money.

The first robbery happened Jan. 29 at the Chase Bank inside the Albertsons on Panama Lane. The second happened April 4 at the Rabobank in the 3900 block of Gosford Rd. and the latest robbery happened Sat. at the Bank of America at 9000 Ming Ave.

Anyone with information about the person's identity is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Dept. at 327-7111 or Det. Ted King at 326-3553.
